FOOD & WINE TOUR ITINERARY
1 off to the Adelaide Hills
Your host will meet you at your city accommodation where your journey will begin around 09:30am. All of our local guides are trained wine experts who will help you unlock the secrets of the Adelaide Hills and better understand all things wine.
Your journey will take you East, snaking your way along the stunning Hills ridgeline and through Cleland Conservation ParK.
The expansive views at Mt Lofty, from the Southern vales across Adelaide City itself and out to the sea are, quite frankly, breathtaking. To know where we’re headed next, catch a glimpse of the Piccadilly Valley from the East viewpoint. If you’re really lucky, you’ll even have a close encounter with the local wildlife!
Meandering down a dirt road flanked by verdant vineyards, you’ll arrive to the hilltop tasting room at The Lane Vineyard. Seated in their glass-wrapped tasting room with uninterruped views over the region, you’ll enjoy a cheese and wine matching experience to begin your day of indulgence.
Over the last 20 years, Shaw + Smith have become one of the Adelaide hills most popular wineries and it may just have something to do with their tasting expereince. Seated out on the sun deck looking across the vineyards, your host will guide you through their range of wines matched with more locally produced cheeses.
