how it works
When you place your booking you’ll be given the chance to leave us with your thoughts and any special requests. Along with a few themed options to choose from, this information helps guide us to create your special experience. While it helps us plan in advance, once we get to know you on tour we might figure out something even better for you and change plans on the day. For this reason we like to leave a little mystery and not divulge itineraries.

‘picture perfect’ theme
1 off to the Adelaide Hills
Your host will meet you at your city accommodation where your journey will begin. All of our local guides are trained wine experts who will help you unlock the secrets of the Adelaide Hills, and also to better understand all things wine.
Your journey will take you East, snaking your way along the stunning Hills ridgeline and through Cleland Conservation Park to your first destination.
2 Mt Lofty Scenic Lookout
The expansive views from Mt Lofty across Adelaide City and out to the sea are, quite frankly, breathtaking. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the Piccadilly Valley from the East viewpoint, and have a close encounter with the local wildlife if you’re really lucky!
Meandering down a dirt road flanked by verdant vineyards, you’ll arrive to the hilltop tasting room at The Lane Vineyard. Seated in their glass-wrapped tasting room providing uninterruped views over the region, you’ll be guided through a tasting of their estate grown wines. Try award winning wines such as their sparkling white, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Shiraz.
Over the last 20 years, Shaw + Smith have grown and evolved to become one of the Hills most formidable wine brands. They now produce a range of world-class clool-climate wines from the Hills and further abroad. Seated in their glass walled tasting room or out on the sun deck, your host will guide you through their range of wines matched with locally produced cheeses.
A spacious and modern interior welcomes you into the Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Kitchen. With tables spilling out onto the deck, the dining area is framed by gumtrees and dappled with sunlight. Enjoy your 4-course lunch in the revitalising outdoor dining area complete with clean country air to make the most of their picture perfect location.
Perched at the Northern peak of the Adelaide Hills wine region, Pike & Joyce have uninterrupted views across the region. Taste their wines while taking in the gorgeous views from their popular cellar door, as the cool hilltops breeze refreshes you from a warm summer’s day.
With one foot placed firmly in the fashion and arts world, Bird In Hand isn’t just a great wine producer but a visually minded one at that. With fine art on the gallery walls and installations throughout, it’s not just the wines you’ll find tasteful. (In the midst of a $30 Million refurbishment, Bird In Hand is not rescheduled to open til 2021).
After your full day of scenic winetasting, we’ll have you safely back in Adelaide for around 5:30pm.
